Is it worth $25 a month?
$25 a month comes to about 83 cents a day, with the AI included. Win back one lost afternoon a month and it has paid for itself.
It costs more than a blocker because it does more than check a list. A blocker compares the site against a list, and a list costs nothing to run. Hawser reads what you're doing and an AI thinks about it all day, so a CSS Grid tutorial on a video site counts as work and a speedrun on the same site does not. That costs real money every day it runs, and it is all in the price: nothing else to sign up for, and no API key to bring.
If a list is all you need, a blocker is cheaper, and the comparison pages say so plainly.

- Planning with your own Claude. That part runs on your Claude account, so it counts toward your Claude plan, and Hawser charges nothing on top.
- Dictation in any app, plus brain dump, notes and flashcards.
- Blocks, limits and schedules, only if you add them.

Refunds and cancelling
Subscribe and change your mind? Email support@gethawser.com within 14 days of the first charge for a full refund, no reason needed. After that you can cancel any time, and you keep access to the end of the period you already paid for. The full refund policy
How payment works
Payments go through Stripe, on Stripe's own checkout page, so Hawser never sees your full card number. Prices are in US dollars.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free plan?
No. There is a 14 day free trial that needs no card, and then one paid plan, because the AI that reads your day costs money every day it runs.
Do I need my own AI account or API key?
No. The AI that watches and nudges is included in the price. The one optional extra is planning with your own Claude, which runs on your Claude account and counts toward your Claude plan.
